JOIN US IN BRITTANY!!

EMG Symphony Orchestra was invited to travel to Rennes, Brittany, France during the first week of June 2004 to join forces with our twin society, the Ensemble Vocal et Instrumental, Jean-Marie Lorand.

During the days in France, the combined forces staged two exciting and well received concerts culminating in the traditional Gala concert in Rennes. Hospitality was by courtesy of our French musical friends who arranged a superb programme of events in a packed but extremely very enjoyable week.

New players interested in joining EMGSO to participate in future tours or help us with twinning events are welcome to apply to join the orchestra as soon as possible. Please contact one of the officers of the committee to express your interest.

It is our aim to invite our French colleagues back to Devon for a special 2006 Spring Music Twinning which we hope will culminate in a Gala Concert in Exeter Cathedral as in previous years. Special twinning celebrations take place in Exeter in 2006.
